The Brisbane band explores the isolating effects of mental illness on a new track produced and mixed by Tom Denney and Troy Brady, ahead of its debut album on Equal Vision Records and Velocity Records.

All Hours share “Let Me Go,” a new single about living with anxiety and the disconnection that can come with it. The Brisbane, Australia-based band builds an energetic pop-punk track around an internal struggle that can distort reality and leave someone feeling detached from their own body. “ ‘Let Me Go’ confronts how mental illness can isolate you, alter your reality and leave you feeling like a ghost in your own body,” vocalist Dani O’Grady explains. The release signals a new chapter for the group and arrives alongside an official music video on YouTube. The track was produced and mixed by Tom Denney, the platinum award-winning musician, songwriter and producer known for working with artists including Pierce the Veil, Issues, Wage War and Neck Deep, alongside Troy Brady, formerly of Amity Affliction. Their involvement connects the single to the broader alternative and pop-punk landscape, while the song itself channels the weight of anxiety into a forceful expression of the desire to break free.

Formed in 2017, All Hours is a five-piece band that has steadily developed its sound within Australia’s alternative scene, drawing influence from Paramore, A Day to Remember, Blink-182, Silverstein and Sum 41. In 2020, Alternative Press named the group among ten emerging Australian pop-punk bands to hear. The following year, the band released its third EP, Perspectives, which led to a signing with San Diego-based label Velocity Records. After the EP was re-released alongside the single “Light,” All Hours spent much of 2023 and 2024 recording its debut full-length with Denney and Brady. The result is a ten-track album set to be announced in the coming weeks by Equal Vision Records and Velocity Records. With “Let Me Go,” the band introduces this next phase through a song that pairs pop-punk intensity with an unflinching look at difficult emotional experiences.
