Coria – “Lost In Translation” | Piano-led pop for everything left unsaid

Trying to understand another person can become an endless exercise once words stop carrying the same meaning. “Lost In Translation” places Coria inside that emotional aftermath: a relationship has ended, yet the need to understand what went wrong remains. Built around piano in Coria’s first composition driven by the instrument, the track opens a quieter space shaped by intimacy, melancholy and uncertainty.

The title becomes a metaphor for emotional miscommunication rather than language itself. “Different letters, nothing changed” suggests that changing the words cannot necessarily resolve what remains underneath them. Meanwhile, “reading you is a piece of art” turns the other person into something that can be observed and interpreted without ever being fully understood. The song becomes more revealing when its perspective turns inward. “I didn’t even know myself to know you” reframes the breakup as something deeper than a failure between two people: knowing someone else may depend, at least partly, on knowing who we are ourselves.

Piano as a space for uncertainty

Classified as Singer-Songwriter and moving toward Bedroom Pop and Lo-fi Pop, the track favors a chill, moody atmosphere. The piano keeps the arrangement intimate and contained, allowing the writing to carry much of the emotional weight. The song’s strongest conceptual move is its refusal to turn the breakup into a simple story of blame. The question remains unresolved because perhaps there was never enough clarity to answer it. By the end, “Lost In Translation” turns emotional misunderstanding into a more difficult realization: sometimes knowing yourself is part of what makes truly knowing someone else possible.
