Dario Emu – “Rabbit Hole” | An endless descent between paranoia, technology and truth

UFOs, aliens, psychokinesis, drugs, the internet and advertising pile up throughout “Rabbit Hole” as fragments of a reality where telling the authentic from the manufactured becomes increasingly difficult. Dario Emu builds the song around that overload, following an obsession with finding a definitive revelation while every answer seems to open another door. The “rabbit hole” becomes a mental space of constant descent, driven by curiosity but also by the inability to stop looking.

Its anxiety comes from that endless search. Technology connects, yet it can also distort, mistranslate and turn attention into a commodity. When the promise to “pierce the veil of secrecy” is interrupted by a sponsor message, the song’s irony becomes especially sharp: even the pursuit of deeper truth can instantly become content and consumption.
