Liana Flores announces And so it goes… and unveils “Silvershoes”, a graceful reflection on dreams and transformation

The British-Brazilian singer-songwriter previews her upcoming EP with a song inspired by glamour, longing, and the emotional shifts that come with embracing a new chapter.

Liana Flores has announced her upcoming EP And so it goes…, arriving on September 4 via Verve Records, alongside the release of its latest single, “Silvershoes.” Told from the perspective of a Hollywood waitress dreaming of a different future after spotting a pair of shimmering silver shoes, the song explores hope, longing, and the uncertainty that accompanies the pursuit of personal dreams. With her signature blend of gentle melodies and introspective songwriting, Flores transforms everyday moments into quietly moving reflections on aspiration and change.

Recorded in Los Angeles with Grammy-nominated producer Paul Butler, And so it goes… expands the musical world introduced on her acclaimed 2024 debut Flower of the Soul, drawing inspiration from the artist’s move to London and her recent touring experiences across Europe, Asia, and North America. Blending bossa nova, Brazilian pop, indie, and folk, the EP continues to celebrate Flores’ bicultural identity while embracing themes of growth, urban life, and emotional transformation. Supporting the release, she will embark on a headlining tour across Europe and North America, including a stop at Lunario in Mexico City on November 3, further cementing her place among the most distinctive voices in contemporary bossa nova.
