The Chilean trio blends folk, surf rock, and vintage pop across a debut album filled with intimacy, humour, and timeless songwriting.
Pescao introduce Uno, their debut full-length album, bringing together twelve songs that establish the Chilean trio’s distinctive blend of folk-pop, surf rock, and Latin American songwriting. Following the release of seven advance singles over the past year, Tomás Hurtado, Clemente Boetsch, and Andrés Elgueta deliver a collection inspired by ordinary moments, using everyday stories to reflect on love, friendship, memory, and change with warmth, wit, and emotional honesty. Recorded in home studios with an intentionally simple and organic approach, the album embraces handcrafted arrangements that place the songs at the centre of the experience.
Drawing influence from the radio pop of the 1960s and 1970s, contemporary folk, and Latin American trova, Uno moves naturally between introspective ballads and more adventurous arrangements while maintaining a cohesive sonic identity. The record also features collaborations with Olivia García, Pablo Lobos, Vicente, and Andrés Elgueta in his solo role, alongside a new interpretation of Eduardo Mateo’s “De nosotros dos”. With this debut, Pescao present a thoughtful and inviting body of work that celebrates the emotional weight of everyday moments through timeless melodies and understated storytelling.
