The Guadalajara-based band continues celebrating its tenth anniversary with a collaborative reinterpretation of a standout track from Viajaré al Pasado de Tanto Arrepentirme.
Mexican band Habitantes unveils “Día con Suerte,” a new version of one of the key songs from Viajaré al Pasado de Tanto Arrepentirme, the album that received CIEN Jalisco’s Album of the Year recognition. This time, the group joins forces with Guadalajara artist Tuchi Mudha, reimagining a song that reflects on relationships that leave a lasting mark and the realization that some people enter our lives as moments that can never truly be repeated. The release forms part of the band’s tenth anniversary celebrations and highlights their commitment to collaboration within Mexico’s independent music community.
The new version turns the original song into an emotional conversation, with both artists exchanging viewpoints through a question-and-answer dynamic that adds new depth to the narrative. Musically, the track preserves Habitantes’ signature blend of melancholic Brit rock influences, explosive guitars, and emotional intensity, while the accompanying video, directed by Raúl Castro, presents the band in a more intimate setting focused on performance and storytelling. Through this collaboration, Habitantes continues to expand the creative universe of one of the most significant releases in its career.
