The Falls have unveiled “Loaded Gun”, the third single from their upcoming EP Would You Do It All Over Again, due September 18, 2026 via Revo Pro. Described as the darkest and most confrontational track from the project so far, the song showcases a heavier side of the Manchester quartet, driven by crashing guitars, relentless momentum and emotionally charged lyrics. Positioned at the centre of the five-track EP, “Loaded Gun” marks a crucial turning point in the record’s narrative, shifting from earlier moments of escapism toward more unpredictable and emotionally complex territory.
Inspired by a memorable scene from Martin Scorsese’s The Departed, the track uses the metaphor of a loaded gun to examine the feeling that no matter how far you run from your mistakes, they eventually catch up with you. Since forming in 2023, The Falls have rapidly become one of Manchester’s most exciting emerging indie-rock acts, earning strong local support, selling out hometown shows and surpassing 100,000 streams with their debut EP Viva La Falls. With “Loaded Gun”, the band continues to build momentum ahead of their next release while showcasing a more mature and ambitious songwriting approach.
