Mr. Dinkles return with “Socialism Ditty,” a biting new single that transforms economic anxiety and modern disillusionment into loud, fast, and darkly funny punk catharsis. Serving as the latest preview of their upcoming EP R.I.P.T., due out June 5, the track combines jagged guitars, sarcastic lyricism, and restless urgency to take aim at extreme wealth and the widening gap between survival and excess.
Comprised of Mac Rettig and Rocco Ramos, Mr. Dinkles continue refining a sound that collides garage rock, post-grunge, and lo-fi punk with sharp social commentary and self-aware humor. Following previous singles like “Letter To Elon” and “IDRW,” “Socialism Ditty” further establishes R.I.P.T. as a chaotic portrait of a hyper-online generation navigating burnout, contradiction, and emotional exhaustion while trying to laugh through the collapse around them.
