Grand Mojo – “Favorite Addiction”: the thrill of returning to the same love

Some connections carry an intensity that seems impossible to explain. In “Favorite Addiction,” Swedish band Grand Mojo turns that persistent attraction into a declaration of love, using addiction as a metaphor that is both direct and provocative. The single embraces the desire to return to someone, even when the connection seems to defy logic.

The second preview of the band’s upcoming album, scheduled for December 2026, the song centers its message on the refrain “You’re my favorite addiction.” The line works as an affirmation suspended between romantic devotion and the urge to repeat an experience that never seems to lose its intensity. Grand Mojo chooses to celebrate that rush without dwelling on its contradictions, prioritizing impact over introspection.

Visceral rock between glam, punk, and desert rock

Grand Mojo’s musical identity combines glam attitude, punk grit, and desert rock groove. This blend supports a direct, melodic, high-energy performance in which the clarity of the chorus drives the emotional impact. Produced by Anton Fernandez and mixed by Fredrik Okazaki, the single continues the Stockholm band’s commitment to a visceral rock sound.

Desire as a recurring impulse

“Favorite Addiction” draws its appeal from a familiar ambiguity: what keeps us coming back can also leave us vulnerable. The song leans into the seductive side of that tension, turning repetition into a celebration of desire. Grand Mojo reaffirms a rock approach built on attitude, melody, and raw energy.
