The Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist previews Café Society, an EP blending cinematic indie rock, intimacy, and an aesthetic perspective on everyday life.

Emmalee Rainbow releases “Line?”, a single exploring secret desire and the frustration of wanting something just out of reach. Intimate, sultry, and emotionally charged, the track gradually builds from a restrained atmosphere into an explosive climax, bringing together drama, grit, and glamour. It serves as the centerpiece of Café Society, Rainbow’s second EP, due October 27 via her independent label, Boo, Forever Records. Drawing on her interests in music, film, food, and culture, the artist creates a distinctive world where private emotions take on cinematic proportions. “Line?” captures that approach, transforming attraction and uncertainty into a composition that steadily expands in intensity until it becomes immersive and emotionally overwhelming.

The EP will also feature “I’ve Had Some Wine”, released earlier in 2026, which explores the tension between ambition and everyday monotony, inspired by Rainbow’s experience in Las Vegas on her 21st birthday. Café Society was self-produced by Rainbow alongside bandmate and label co-owner Ryan Dwyer, with contributions from Drew Aron, Maxx Morando, and Nik Freitas; Wally Gagel handled the mixing. The release will be available on streaming platforms and as a limited-edition 12-inch vinyl. Following her independently released debut EP, Origin (2022), Rainbow begins a new chapter with a project that reframes life’s in-between moments as rituals and finds beauty in the everyday.
