Chuck Daniels revives “Thrillseekers” with a newly remastered remix

The Detroit producer revisits one of his most celebrated reworks on August 7, ahead of The Remixes, a six-track collection arriving August 21 via Sampled Detroit.

Chuck Daniels revisits one of the defining productions of his career with a newly remastered edition of “Thrillseekers,” his celebrated remix for Andy Toth & Billy Love, released on August 7. Originally issued through Play It Say It, the track became a fixture on Ibiza dance floors and received support from leading DJs including Eats Everything and Skream, while also earning a place in Spin Magazine‘s list of the 40 greatest dance tracks of all time. Now, Daniels brings the production back into focus with a refreshed master that preserves its combination of soulful musicality, driving grooves, and timeless House sensibility.

The release of “Thrillseekers” also marks the first chapter in the return of Sampled Detroit, the independent label founded by Daniels following a short hiatus. The single leads into The Remixes, a six-track collection arriving on August 21, featuring reworks for artists including Jr Jr, Jake Childs & Laura Frey, Lupe, Evan Rhodes featuring Clara Grun, and Johnny Fiasco. With this new chapter, Daniels revisits key productions from his catalogue while reaffirming his connection to the House culture rooted in Detroit, where he has spent more than two decades building a career through collaborations and releases connected to some of electronic music’s most respected names.
