Keyo Catto unveils SUAVECIDADES, his debut full-length album, an eight-song collection that seamlessly blends indie, jazz, R&B, and lo-fi into an intimate and richly textured listening experience. Released through Surpop Records, the record finds Chilean musician and producer Diego Croxatto reflecting on heartbreak, distance, and melancholy while searching for acceptance and inner peace. Built around the accessibility of pop songwriting, the album also reveals meticulous arrangements and layered production that reward repeated listens, balancing emotional honesty with subtle musical complexity.
Recorded, produced, and mixed across Babel Estudio, Estudio Centella, and CHICOESTUDIOCHICO, SUAVECIDADES emerged through a collaborative creative process alongside producers Antonio Caballero (Centella) and Bastián Grañas (Ninja Negro). The album moves effortlessly between indie guitar work, jazz-inspired horns, digital textures, and soulful atmospheres, crafting a modern sound that expands the possibilities of Chile’s alternative music landscape. With SUAVECIDADES, Keyo Catto introduces a distinctive artistic voice that embraces experimentation without losing sight of melody or emotional connection, delivering a debut that highlights the vitality of Chile’s emerging independent scene.
