Roberto Carlos Lange and Fabi Reyna merge electronic textures, Latin influences, and experimental songwriting while unveiling the video for “Soledad.”

Helado Negro and Reyna Tropical unveil Helado Tropical, a collaborative album born from the creative chemistry between Roberto Carlos Lange and Fabi Reyna, two artists known for redefining the possibilities of contemporary Latin music. Released through Psychic Hotline, the nine-track record was crafted across North Carolina, Portland, and other locations throughout the United States, blending guitars, drum machines, synthesizers, and ambient textures into a fluid and deeply personal sonic language. Alongside the album, the duo also premieres the official video for “Soledad,” directed by Helado Tropical and edited by Josh Finck, reflecting the immediacy and openness that shaped the recording process.

Rather than fitting within a single genre, Helado Tropical embraces freedom as its central theme, exploring movement, intimacy, identity, and transformation through an expansive musical approach. The project challenges conventional ideas of Latin music while creating space for emotional and cultural exploration. Following a recent North American tour supporting CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Helado Tropical will embark on its first headlining tour beginning August 12, with performances scheduled in Los Angeles, New York, and Mexico City, where the duo will perform at Lunario on November 26.

También hablamos de su proceso donde el movimiento del cuerpo es el termómetro creativo, y de su expectativa por su primer show en la Ciudad de México.
