The Buenos Aires band expands its sound through shoegaze, emo and noise rock influences while preparing for a new live performance at Semillero Konex.
Argentine band Mis Peores Enemigos continues its upward trajectory with the release of ‘Segundo Lugar’, a new EP arriving after the successful singles “Lo que querías” and “Día de suerte.” The collection brings together songs that have already become familiar to audiences through the group’s recent live shows, further strengthening the connection between the band and its growing fanbase. On this release, the quartet embraces a more dynamic and rhythm-driven approach, blending elements of noise rock, emo, and pop while maintaining the melodic and emotional core that defines its sound.
Across ‘Segundo Lugar’, the band explores themes of time, uncertainty, relationships, and the consequences of difficult choices. Formed in Buenos Aires in 2024, Mis Peores Enemigos has developed a distinctive identity built around raw guitars, powerful rhythms, and deeply nostalgic songwriting. Following the release of their 2025 debut album Tiempos mejores, the band continues to expand its artistic vision with this EP and will bring the new material to the stage on July 16 as part of the Semillero series at Centro Cultural Konex.
