The Barcelona-based collective blends funk, flamenco, drum and bass, and hip hop while announcing a Spanish tour alongside Los Mirlos.
Funky Munchies continue to push the boundaries of Latin fusion with the release of “Dame To”, the second single from their forthcoming album Gula. Led by producer Ginope, the Barcelona-based band delivers an energetic track that merges funk grooves, flamenco handclaps, drum and bass rhythms, and hip hop influences into a vibrant and genre-defying sound. The single captures the creative spirit behind Gula, a project built around experimentation, artistic freedom, and the coexistence of diverse musical influences.
The release follows the group’s participation in The World Meets Los Mirlos, where they appeared alongside artists such as Juanes, Bomba Estéreo, and La Coreañera. The momentum continues with the announcement of a Spanish tour alongside legendary Amazonian cumbia pioneers Los Mirlos, further strengthening a collaboration that bridges tradition and contemporary Latin sounds. As Gula moves closer to its release, Funky Munchies continue to establish themselves as one of the most innovative acts emerging from today’s independent music scene.
