The Paris-based duo embraces a darker post-punk sound on a new single featuring the former Guns N’ Roses drummer.
Bliss My Heart X Cliff Estatof return with “Love Lies”, a new single that signals a bold step forward in their artistic evolution. Released through Cleopatra Records, the track leans into darker post-punk territory, driven by tense guitars, raw energy, and a brooding atmosphere that expands on the sonic direction introduced in recent releases. Arriving after the success of “Sugar Kapel”, the song highlights the duo’s growing interest in blending alternative rock intensity with atmospheric songwriting.
A key element of “Love Lies” is the contribution of Frank Ferrer, known for his work with Guns N’ Roses, The Psychedelic Furs, Love Spit Love, and Draco Rosa. His powerful drumming adds momentum and depth to a track shaped by influences ranging from Depeche Mode and Talk Talk to Alice in Chains. Founded in Paris by Jen Wolf and later joined by producer Cliff Estatof, the project continues to refine a darker and more spiritual vision, establishing itself as a distinctive voice within contemporary alternative music.
