The leading figure of the UK jungle resurgence reimagines a key track from the Franco-British duo’s debut EP
Cut Face unveils a new version of “Those Sundays” through a remix by Tim Reaper, one of the most influential figures behind the contemporary revival of UK jungle music. While preserving the emotional core of the original track, the remix pushes it into rougher territory with chopped Amen breaks, relentless drums and an intensity that amplifies its introspective nature. The result is a powerful reinterpretation where melancholy and dancefloor energy coexist in equal measure.
Originally featured on the debut EP You’ll Never Get The Same Moment Twice, “Those Sundays” explores acceptance and the idea of learning to live alongside personal struggles rather than fighting against them. Formed by French producer Body Hook and British vocalist Tacita Grace, Cut Face blends garage, jungle and darkwave influences into a sound that echoes artists such as The Prodigy, New Order and IDLES. With Tim Reaper’s endorsement and early support from BBC 6 Music, the duo continues to establish itself as one of Europe’s most compelling emerging electronic acts.
