Bear Garden – We Are All | expansive nu jazz as shared language

Rather than presenting a fixed idea, “We Are All” unfolds as an open space. Within it, Bear Garden builds a listening experience centered on convergence—where different textures and influences coexist without hierarchy. The track doesn’t rely on a linear narrative; instead, it leans into a collective sensibility, suggesting music as a meeting point. There’s a reflective quality in its progression, one that invites the listener to drift within the sound rather than follow a defined path.

The structure of “We Are All” mirrors this openness. Martin Wirén’s saxophone acts as a central voice, weaving through contemporary beats that echo hip hop while remaining grounded in jazz traditions. The presence of double bass and choral layers adds depth, expanding the track into a hybrid space between nu jazz, jazztronica, and touches of free jazz. It balances experimentation with clarity, allowing each element to move freely within a cohesive sonic flow.
