The single blends analog synthesizers, soulful vocals and disco-infused rhythms into a reflective song about movement, calm and everyday surroundings.

Between the urban landscape and the need to slow down, Yvonne Ambrée builds “HIMBEEREN” around the idea of movement. Created with production duo Eraserhood Sound and released on August 19, 2026, the single combines vintage synthesizers, live-recorded rhythms, lush soul vocal arrangements and a disco-infused pulse. The song develops from a series of everyday images: riding a bike through the Navy Yard, passing the Williamsburg sugar factory and watching the blue line of the East River. That outward gaze gradually becomes a way of bringing the mind back into focus. Its lyrics center on calming down, moving beyond uncertainty and recognizing what has been present all along, turning a simple journey through the city into an intimate moment of reflection.

“HIMBEEREN”, the German word for “raspberries” and originally the track’s working title, is also the first taste of the forthcoming DEVOTION EP. The production connects Ambrée’s creative worlds in Brooklyn and Berlin with Philadelphia through her collaboration with Eraserhood Sound, while retaining the warmth and pulse of a live band playing in the same room. A singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, Ambrée has developed an analog-electronic sound shaped by synth & soul, disco and indie. With Eraserhood Sound, that identity takes on a bright, rhythmic form where landscape, movement and introspection settle naturally into the same groove.
