David Howls – “Hooked” | Alt-rock caught between desire, dependency and self-destruction

Blood spilling from a mouth gives “Hooked” its first physical wound, but that image quickly expands into something more complicated: a relationship where words can hurt as much as actions. David Howls builds an emotionally restless alt-rock track around two people who seem fully aware of the damage they cause each other and still remain trapped in the same cycle.
