The Argentine artist unveils a new preview of her upcoming conceptual album
Abril Oxalde returns with “Puñal (Ángel de la debilidad),” a collaboration with Santina Avendaño that examines the delicate boundary between artistic passion and self-destruction. Through poetic imagery and emotionally charged arrangements, the song asks a compelling question: how far are we willing to go for the things we love creating? Built around piano, synthesizers and immersive vocal performances, the track transforms vulnerability into a powerful artistic statement.
The release also serves as a preview of Abril Oxalde’s upcoming conceptual record, a project that will delve deeper into the contradictions of emotional life. Based in Buenos Aires Province, the artist has established a distinctive voice that blends alternative rock, singer-songwriter traditions and poetic storytelling. Following the release of Esto and the single “Tengo lo tuyo”, “Puñal (Ángel de la debilidad)” further strengthens a body of work where symbolism and emotional complexity coexist naturally.
