Ako returns with Lovely Moments, her second full-length album and a delicate exploration of Y2K aesthetics, emotional memory, and human connection. Across twelve tracks, she combines her signature whisper vocals with immersive alternative pop arrangements, creating a soundscape that celebrates the small moments that often become life’s most meaningful memories. The project balances nostalgia with a contemporary sensibility, inviting listeners to slow down and appreciate everyday experiences.
The album also highlights Ako’s expanding artistic universe through major anime collaborations and internationally acclaimed production work. Featuring “Turn It Up,” the ending theme for The Darwin Incident, “MOVE MOVE” from Me and the Alien MuMu, and the new single “Love Was Born,” Lovely Moments reinforces her ability to merge music, storytelling, and visual creativity into a cohesive experience. With this release, Ako further establishes her distinctive voice within contemporary alternative pop.
