Lozenge – Everything | Devastating Shoegaze and existential anxiety

Walls of expansive guitars, abrasive atmospheres, and an emotionally crushing chorus turn “Everything” into one of Lozenge’s most intense and ambitious compositions to date. The band blends Shoegaze and Alternative Rock within a monumental soundscape where contemporary anxiety, emotional exhaustion, and social pressure crash together like an unstoppable storm. As the title track of their new EP, the song pushes the group’s cinematic approach further through larger arrangements, deeper atmospheres, and overwhelming emotional weight.

The narrative directly confronts the psychological exhaustion created by capitalism and the sense of alienation embedded within modern life. “Everything” reflects on how money, productivity, and social structures infiltrate every part of existence, creating a constant feeling of internal collapse and quiet hopelessness. Lozenge transforms that existential anxiety into an immersive and cathartic sonic experience where vulnerability and devastation coexist within massive shoegaze explosions.

Expansive Shoegaze and emotional collapse

Lozenge combines dense guitars and cinematic atmospheres to explore anxiety, alienation, and modern exhaustion.

Dark Alternative Rock and existential catharsis

“Everything” transforms social pressure and emotional despair into a monumental, abrasive, and deeply immersive experience.
