The Brazilian artist blends pop rock, electronics, and cinematic storytelling into a song about authenticity and social pressure
Ella Blum returns with “Vida Experimental,” a pop rock single inspired by science fiction imagery and emotional vulnerability. Built around themes of identity, self-perception, and external expectations, the track explores the tension between becoming who others want you to be and protecting your authentic self.
Drawing influence from artists like Evanescence and Florence and The Machine, while visually referencing works such as Rocky Horror Picture Show, Mickey 17, and The Substance, Ella Blum creates a cinematic and emotionally charged experience where electronic textures and raw rock energy coexist. Accompanied by a short-film-inspired music video, “Vida Experimental” also marks the closing chapter of a creative cycle that reconnects the artist with songwriting in her native Portuguese.
