The new single transforms physical fragility and emotional tension into a hypnotic dream pop experience
Flame Parade return with “White and Torn,” a deeply personal single that explores vulnerability, femininity, and the emotional impact of living with endometriosis. Built around liquid-like distorted guitars and immersive dream pop atmospheres, the song reflects on the pressure of perfection, the fragility hidden beneath appearances, and the difficult process of reconnecting with one’s own body.
Written by Letizia Bonchi and Marco Zampoli, the track balances frustration, uncertainty, and acceptance while capturing the emotional shock of confronting physical limitations and shifting self-perception. With “White and Torn,” Flame Parade move toward a more exposed and emotionally immediate sound without abandoning the cinematic textures and atmospheric depth that define their music. The release also previews the band’s upcoming fourth album, produced by Ali Chant.
