The New York band blend hardcore energy and operatic vocals in the first preview of Dandy Variances
Ecce Shnak release “Vincent”, the first single from their upcoming album Dandy Variances, due later this year via Records, Man Records. Blending art rock, post-hardcore and experimental theatricality, the band deliver an explosive track where operatic vocals collide with frantic guitars in a narrative filled with irony and confrontation. Centered around the figure of an arrogant everyday antagonist, the song transforms frustration into sonic catharsis through humor and exaggerated intensity.
The release is accompanied by a video directed by DJay Brawner that visually references iconic 1990s aesthetics and experimental metal imagery, reinforcing the band’s chaotic and performative identity. Forged within New York’s experimental scene, Ecce Shnak continue to define a sound rooted in technical precision and inspired mayhem, crafting songs that move between excess, satire and unpredictable live energy.
