The Italian band delivers a cinematic indie track rooted in introspection
Flame Parade release “Criminal Gospel”, a new single that signals the beginning of a new sonic phase ahead of their upcoming album. Built around a cinematic alternative indie approach, the track unfolds through driving rhythms, distorted guitars, dissonant feedback and suspended synths, creating a hypnotic, mantra-like chorus. At its core, the song navigates a constant tension between abstraction and physicality, distance and presence, shaping a sound that balances emotional intensity with restraint.
“Criminal Gospel” stands as a statement of authenticity, exploring the need to return to a more grounded and honest sense of self. Recorded in Bristol and produced by Ali Chant, the single anticipates a fourth album that leans into emotional closeness and a clear perspective on the present, while preserving the band’s signature atmospheric depth. With this release, Flame Parade continue to evolve their sound, offering a listening experience that merges introspection, tension and release.
