CATBEAR estrena ‘Who Cares?’: Alt-pop energético para rebeldes sociales (UK)

El proyecto británico CATBEAR presenta el sencillo “Who Cares?”, una pista energética y brillante que navega entre el alt-pop y matices punk. Con una voz desafiante pero luminosa, la canción ofrece una experiencia dinámica, edificante y pegadiza, combinando momentos catárticos con reflexivos.

Su narrativa conecta emocionalmente con el oyente, explorando las tensiones entre pertenecer y mantenerse al margen, entre la conexión y el espacio personal. El coro – liberador, cínico y sincero – provoca una catarsis perfecta contra las convenciones sociales del día a día.

“Es ese pánico silencioso antes de salir de casa… Quieres salir y ser parte de algo, pero ya estás calculando cuánto tiempo debes quedarte antes de que esté bien irte. O estoy preocupada por perderme algo, o empiezo a dudar de todo en cuanto llego. La canción suena animada, pero en el fondo soy yo intentando mantenerme con los pies en la tierra, recordándome que está bien aparecer, ser un poco torpe y no preocuparse tanto por lo que piensen los demás.” – Zoe.

CATBEAR es el proyecto de pop alternativo de las mejores amigas Zoe y Sarah, inspirado en los sonidos indie, synth-pop y electrónicos de los 80, 90 y 2000. Sus canciones exploran los paisajes emocionales que nos quitan el sueño: alegría, ansiedad, desamor, añoranza y esperanza, con un sonido que oscila entre melodías pop vibrantes y texturas más oscuras y melancólicas.

“It’s that quiet panic before you’ve even left the house… You want to go out and be part of things, but you’re already working out how long you have to stay before it’s okay to leave. I’m either worried I’m missing out, or second-guessing everything the moment I get there.
