Luna Keller presenta el sencillo “Don’t Kill The Butterfly” (Alemania)

English version

“When I was struggling with self-harm I found the butterfly project online, the concept is simple but effective: drawing a butterfly on my skin and letting it fade naturally so it can fly away – but if I hurt myself before it fades the butterfly dies. It might seem simple but this technique helped me keep myself safe many times – and inspired this song. I am glad I get to share the full story now, because maybe it can reach someone who needs to know they are not alone, someone who needs a butterfly to keep them safe as well”.

Her family moved from Germany to Spain when she was just 6 months old. As a result she grew up far away from most of her family and traveling often from a young age. Music was always a part of her life starting with her parents singing and playing the guitar for her to fall asleep an leading to her eventually falling in love with songwriting. Through it she found a true connection to herself, going as far as calling her songs „friends“ that help her process life.
