Rodents is a fuzzy urban epic with sharp edges, dark and frantic like the alleys in the northern end of the city, a wintery, arsonist, nocturnal siege in the gray and suspended neighborhoods from Washington Heights to the Bronx.
Born in northern Manhattan, MANICBURG is the trait d’union of two distinct musical minds – New York
City native Ray Lustig and Italy’s Luigi Porto. Both are composers with international careers including
symphonic works, performances at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and major festival
and opera stages in Europe, as well as small clubs and festivals worldwide.
