El proyecto australiano Elstow presenta el sencillo Just Alive, una pista que construye un sonido brillante, atractivo, pegadizo y accesible, explorando géneros como el psychedelic rock, indietronica y dream pop. Se suma al ecosistema del pop psicodélico moderno, ofreciendo una experiencia musical hipnotizante cuyo vaivén mantiene un brillo en cada sonido y textura que construye la atmósfera de la pista.
A través de la voz, Elstow guía a los oyentes en una interesante reflexión emocional sobre la idea de no tener todo resuelto, la confusión, la oscuridad y la espera de algo más. Todo esto sin perder el dinamismo de su narrativa musical, que alterna entre momentos suaves, reflexivos y dulces, y otros densos, caóticos y catárticos.
Se trata de ceder ante algo/alguien que tu cerebro te dice que no lo hagas.
Elstow se formó como dúo en 2012 y rápidamente se expandió a 5 miembros, lanzando su EP debut AS THE SUN FALLS en 2014, una oferta de folk psicológico de baja fidelidad basada en la psicodelia melódica de finales de los 60. En 2017 lanzaron su primer álbum de larga duración.
PLANETAS LEJOS. Impulsado por ritmos hipnóticos de batería y bajo, ofrecía un estilo de los 70 con un pop psicológico infundido espacialmente impulsado rítmicamente que confundió y sorprendió a los oyentes, apoyándose en gran medida en imágenes espaciales de ciencia ficción como un medio para que Shaw explorara sus pensamientos internos.

Elstow formed as a duo in 2012 and quickly expanded to 5 members, releasing their debut EP AS THE SUN FALLS in 2014, a low-fi psych folk offering drawing on the melodic psychedelia of the late 60s. In 2017 they released their first full-length album
PLANETS AWAY. Driven by hypnotic drum and bass grooves, it offered 70s style rhythmically driven space-infused psych pop that confounded and surprised listeners, leaning heavily on sci fi space imagery as a means for Shaw to explore his inner thoughts.
